My small middle sized dog finds it very comfortable. She immediately knew this was for her and basically never leaves her new place. What I don't like about it that much is that pieces of little furs already falling out after a few days of use. Also, I don't like the fact that the inside cushion does not cover the total bottom of the bed, so often when my dog sleeps in it the cushion slips and the dog basically sleeps on the thin bottom of the bed. But the dog doesn't care, she loves it.
